Sis. Brito and me. She is leaving this week. She was in my very first district on the mission and has become a good friend.
Hey, Howdy, Hey! (I am so hungry in the moment... If anyone wants to send a cafe rio burrito that would be spectacular)

I can´t believe another week has come and gone by... This week was a week that was super super tiring. Probably one of the most tiring weeks yet. But it was mostly because of some trips we took.
So I´ll start out by telling about my tuesday and wednesday. Tuesday was the first time I sent emails that wasn´t on p-day and I hated it! ha. Just because I wasn´t able to think about any of the emails because we had to work. Usually we all send emails monday and all talk about home and our families and we all just get trunky together :) haha. But tuesday was the worst because we had to go out and work and not think about any of that stuff. Luckily we were able to get some stuff done still. Tuesday night we were able to find a convert in here house after she took a trip for about a month. We are super excited to start working with her because she absolutley loves her family and wants all of them to go to church! So its just a house full of investigators that have tons of potential.
So Thursday morning bright and early we got on the bus and headed to Palmas for our zone meeting in the morning. We had our meeting and I gave a small trainning to the zone about finding new investigators and it was a lot of fun. After our zone meeting we all headed to Bob´s Burgers, its like McDonalds or Burger King but just here in Brasil (I think). So all of us elders got some delicious burgers and some sundaes. Its like an every once and a while thing that we eat fast food because it is sooo dang expensive. But it was sooo delicious #baconburger #fries.
While we were there Pres. Lundgren and the assistants got in on there flight and went there to eat as well. It was funny when they walked in and we were all eating burgers laughing. After lunch we headed to the chruch nearby to have our interviews and stuff with Pres. Lundgren. Interview days are always way fun because we sit there in the chapel talking with all the missionaries and relaxing :) hehe. But my interview was really awesome. I love talking with Pres. Lundgren so much. He is so inspired. When we were done with the interview he asked ``elder, is there anything I can do for you?´´ I told him I wanted one small favor from him. Thats when I told him it was your birthday Mom, and then I asked if we could take a picture and if he´d send it :) haha. And as you know, we took pictures and Sis. Lundgren posted on the Facebook page. Super sweet. I loved it. Thursday night we got home just exhausted.
Friday was a normal day and then Saturday we had to head back to Palmas for a zone meeting with Pres. Lundgren and an area seventy, Elder Dias. But the problem was was that the meeting was at 1 in the afternoon so we had to get the bus early and miss lunch. Luckily Elder Peralta was with us from Palmas 3 and we called Bruno and Mayara Friday night asking for help. When we got there Saturday morning Bruno got us from the bus station and then took us to his house where they gave us an amazing lunch :) It was sooo cool and such a blessing to be able to go there and eat lunch. They are doing so great and are preparing to go to the temple! I am so excited for them. They always say I am their favorite elder because I was the first elder to go to there house! Man, they are great. Bruno even gave us a ride to the church for our meeting.
The actual meeting was incredible. We talked about all the problems our areas have individually and Elder Dias and P. Lundgren had a meeting and fireside with the stake later that night telling everyone what they need to do to improve. We are really trying to accelerate the work here because we are trying to split the stake of Palmas this next year! It makes me so happy to see the church growing so much here. I love being apart of this wonderful work here in Tocantins and Palmas! Só ouro.
I don´t have much else to say, at least not that I can remember for now. I hope you all have a great week! Love you all and hope that this week goes great. I will send some pictures for yall. hugs!
com amor, Elder Patterson
